Cobaltmania.com is owned and operated by Kayalonmotorsports, a family run business that specializes in online ecommerce niche web sites. Kayalonmotorsports is co-owned by me, Wayne and my wife Michelle and we operate out of Rocklin, CA. Kayalonmotorsports was founded in 2006 and cobaltmania.com was brought online in March 2009.
Cobaltmania.com specializes in providing quality products at a reasonable price for the popular Chevrolet Cobalt. Cobaltmania.com is a niche website that is dedicated to selling products for one brand as in the Chevy Cobalt.
As cobaltmania.com progresses ahead in the next years we will continually update our site and we will always be on the lookout for new products to add to our line-up. If you are looking for a particular part and you don't see it on our website please do not hesitate to contact us as we have access to well over 300 manufacturers and distributors and will be happy to do the leg work for you.
Now a little bit about me. My first encounter with automobile repair came in the form of a 1965 Volkswagen bug that belonged to my dad. We were always tinkering with it, trying to keep it running. In high school I was able to purchase my first car, a 1965 Ford Galaxy 500. What a car, from the 352 to the big back seat. First order of business was to put custom tires and wheels on the corners, and then I swapped out the automatic transmission for a manual 4 speed. Carburetor, headers and glass pack mufflers were the last bit to be added. I kept this car for a few years, always tinkering with it. I sold this car when I joined the Army right out of high school. I waited until I finished my training to buy another car. My choice was a 1973 Mercury Capri, a small car, but fast and stylish right off the car lot. Changes to the Capri included a high rise manifold, competition cam, header, and 4 barrel carburetor with a 3 inch exhaust. That car screamed and I kept it until 1986 when I purchased a 1985 Ford Mustang to tweak. Unfortunately the mustang was kept stock except for the wheels and tires. Fast forward to 2004 when I retired from the army. In 2004 I purchased a 2004 F150 and a few years later I purchased a 2005 Chevy Cobalt, 2.2L to combat the rising cost of gas. The Cobalt is still driven everyday and I plan on tweaking it in the near future as time permits. I still have the F150 that I use and my wife has her car. That's enough for now.
