SPEC Stage 2 Plus Clutch Kit for the Chevy Cobalt.

SPEC Stage 2 Plus for street, drag, pulling and autocross.  Great for street, drag, autocross, road racing, pulling, rally and drift.  The multi friction disc features a full face configuration with carbon semi-metallic on one side and Kevlar on the other.  Bridging the gap between stage 2 and stage 3, the 2+ offers drivability and engagement quality characteristics of the stage 2 but with a 15-20% higher torque capability.   The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and the components are heated treated for added strength and durability.

SPEC clutches are manufactured on site using the most advanced methods available that ensure strict tolerances are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.  

Unless using a new flywheel provided by SPEC your existing flywheel must be resurfaced prior to installing the clutch kit.  There is a 450 mile break in period required before full throttle engagement, drag launching or speed shifting.    To ensure your safety and potential damage all re-used bolts must be inspected and they must be replaced if flawed or it they have been removed and re-torqued numerous times.

The kit includes a high clamp pressure plate, clutch disc, bearing and pilot tool.
